What is More American Than Blue Jeans?

What kind of things are truly American? Like rock and country music, apple pie, or freedom?
One of the things that comes to my mind is blue jeans. Over the past few years I have wanted to gag as it became harder and harder to find truly American made jeans. Most makers have closed their factories and moved production to overseas contractors and sub-contractors. An American icon has been given over to production conditions that would never be tolerated here — worker safety issues, chemicals (it is not just the toys), extensive environmental pollution.
However, we have a choice. In addition to the men’s jeans and premium women’s jeans we have been carrying, we just added women’s and kid’s jeans by Texas jean.
It’s the real deal. 100% American, as it should always be…
