I too am concerned about Americans using their tax rebate checks on items not made in the USA. My husband and I intend to pay for our reservations for our upcoming vacation on Ocracoke Island where there are no national chains and where we intend to buy local music and artwork. I'm a progressive but I do understand the need to keep jobs here in the USA and to buy from American owned companies. Everyone please think before you splurge that rebate check
